Responsible Business and Commercial Success Go Hand in Hand
From a family-owned business established more than three decades ago to one of Serbia's leading fashion companies, PS Fashion has become a remarkable example of sustainable business growth and industrial development.

With more than 520 employees, approximately 630,000 garments produced annually, over 100 retail stores, and a presence across nearly all regional markets, the company has built a strong brand that combines commercial success with investment in people, local communities, and sustainable business practices.
Sustainability as a Long-Term Commitment
During a visit by representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia to the company's headquarters and production facilities in Čačak, PS Fashion presented a business model demonstrating that long-term competitiveness is built not only on financial performance but also on responsibility towards employees, the environment, and society.
According to Marija Milošević, Marketing and PR Manager at PS Fashion, sustainability has never been a response to market trends or regulatory requirements, but rather a natural extension of the company's long-standing values.
"Many of the activities that are now recognised under ESG standards have been part of PS Fashion's business philosophy for many years. Reforestation initiatives, investments in energy efficiency, employee development, and support for education have been embedded in our operations since the very beginning. Today, we continue to strengthen and systematise these activities because we believe that successful business should create value both for the company and for society."
Investing in Cleaner Production
PS Fashion is among the Serbian companies making significant investments in sustainable technologies and modern manufacturing.
Its 350 kW solar power plant already supplies approximately 31% of the company's total electricity consumption, while heating and cooling systems rely on groundwater heat pumps. The introduction of LED lighting, energy-efficient machinery, and automated cutting technologies has further improved productivity while reducing resource consumption.
Alongside technological investments, the company continuously enhances its management systems through the implementation of internationally recognised ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, reinforcing its commitment to environmental protection, occupational health and safety.
PS Fashion is also actively involved in international initiatives focused on the Digital Product Passport (DPP), positioning the company among the pioneers of product transparency and traceability in the textile industry, both in the region and beyond.
Corporate Responsibility and Circular Economy
Corporate responsibility is a core element of PS Fashion's business strategy.
Through its "You Choose, We Plant" initiative, the company has planted more than 8,400 trees across Serbia. Partnerships with scientific institutions also contribute to the preservation of endangered plant species. According to Milošević, the company plans to plant an additional 17,000 trees in the coming years, reaffirming its long-term commitment to environmental protection.
PS Fashion also places strong emphasis on the circular economy. Through its upcycling programme, customers can return used garments for reuse or donate them for charitable purposes. This initiative encourages more sustainable consumption while helping reduce textile waste.
People at the Heart of the Business
People remain the company's greatest asset.
PS Fashion continuously invests in employee education and professional development while supporting future talent through dual education programmes. Cooperation with secondary schools and universities, equipment donations, mentoring, and professional training contribute to strengthening Serbia's textile industry and preparing the next generation of skilled professionals.
A Model for Sustainable Growth
PS Fashion demonstrates that sustainability and business success are not competing priorities but mutually reinforcing drivers of long-term growth.
By systematically monitoring sustainability performance, the company improves operational efficiency, optimises resource management, and further strengthens its competitiveness in both domestic and international markets.
